Magnesium Sulphate (MgSO₄·7H₂O)- 500g
Key Characteristics:
-
Appearance: It typically appears as colorless, crystalline, or white granules. When in its pure form, it may resemble salt or sugar, with a sparkling crystalline texture.
-
Solubility: It is highly soluble in water, which is why it’s often used in solutions and baths. Upon dissolution, it dissociates into magnesium (Mg²⁺) and sulfate (SO₄²⁻) ions.
-
Melting Point: Magnesium sulfate heptahydrate decomposes at around 150°C (302°F), losing water and converting into the anhydrous form (MgSO₄).
